It has more suffixes as compared to Indo-European languages. The word count between English and Turkish sentences having the same meaning may differ significantly due to this fact. That's why some Turkish translators apply higher fees when word count is based on the number of Turkish words and lower fees when the number of word is based on translated English text. Word order in Turkish grammarWords in sentences follow subject, object, and verb (SOV) order. In most cases, the word right before is the most important word in reflecting the meaning.
